Ms. Andrea Abreu

All About Me
Welcome Spartans! My name is Mrs. Abreu and this is my second year at Stafford Elementary. This is my second year of teaching and I will be teaching 2nd grade ELAR/SS. I was born in Caracas, Venezuela and have been living in Katy for the past 30 years. I have been married for 14 wonderful years and I have an 8th grade daughter named Izabella and a fourth grade son named Matthew. I enjoy dancing and doing arts and crafts.

Education
I got into the teaching profession because I love children and I love watching them learn and grow. My passion is reading and I hope to instill the love of reading for all of my students. I graduated from the University of Houston-Victoria in December of 2016. I have my Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6 and have my Bilingual Education certification. I was a Special Education paraprofessional for 8 years in Katy and did my student teaching in first and second grade.

I am so excited for the new school year and can't wait to make a difference in all of my students' lives and help them SUCCEED!!!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Abreu
