Week of August 29
In Math this week:
We will be going over Place Value to the billions. The students will interpret the value of each place value position as 10 times or one tenth of the position to its right or left. This is a difficult concept to understand. I will continue to spiral back over this topic throughout the year.

We will also cover Place Value Forms and take a quiz on it on Thursday.

In Science this week:
We will finish the Safety procedures and begin the Science Investigation. There will be an open-note quiz on Thursday over the procedures covered.

We will not be taking our tests and quizzes on the same day every week. This week just happened to land on the same day.
